Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance
By using textcomparechecker.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. The service
Text Compare Checker provides a free browser-based tool for comparing two blocks of text. All comparison is performed locally within your browser. No account is required and no fee is charged.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with the site or its infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site
- Scrape or automate access at a volume that degrades the service for others
- Remove, obscure or circumvent advertising, or misrepresent the site as your own
- Reproduce the site's content in bulk without permission
You are solely responsible for the content you paste or upload, and for ensuring you have the right to process it.
4. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that comparison results will be complete, accurate or free of error. Do not rely solely on this tool for decisions with legal, financial, medical or safety consequences. If a comparison matters, verify it independently.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the service — including any loss arising from reliance on a comparison result.
Because the service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed zero.
6. Availability
We make no guarantee of uptime. The service may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time without notice.
7. Intellectual property
The site's design, text and code are owned by the operator, except for third-party open-source components which remain subject to their own licences. You retain all rights in the content you compare — we acquire no rights in it, and in any case never receive it.
8. Third-party services
The site uses third-party analytics and advertising services. Their use of data is governed by their own policies. See our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated at any time. The date above will reflect the most recent change. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides you with greater rights, those rights are unaffected.
11. Severability
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
